1. Reservations
To guarantee the final reservation, the full amount of the lessons
provided for must be paid.
2. Rates
Prices are in CHF and recommended by the Swiss Association of Climbing Instructors and ASGM. Prices in Euros are indicative prices
likely to be adapted at any time depending on the exchange rate. The
price of ski lift subscription, entrance to climbing halls and equipment rentals such as skis, snowboards, telemark helmets, harnesses, slippers, via ferrata lanyards, etc. are not included in the lesson time.
3. Private lessons
For private lessons, you must arrive on the day specified in
hours mentioned on the reservation document. In case of delay,
thank you for informing us as soon as possible, so that we can notify your
monitor. The course will nevertheless end
at the scheduled time. Without any news from you, your instructor
will wait 30 minutes from the start time of your lesson. Pass
this period, the service will be due in full. The school reserves the right
delay the start time of lessons.
4. Group ski or snowboard lessons
In periods of low attendance, two levels or age groups may be
combined. Group lessons with less than 3 people last 2 hours
instead of 3 hours. For group activities, the teacher is not
obliged to wait for latecomers. Rock N Snow reserves the right to
modify the established program.
If the technical level of the student once there does not correspond to the
level of the course chosen, Rock N Snow reserves the right to change
course student for a level that really corresponds to his, in the
limit of places available. The student cannot claim any
reimbursement or compensation. Rock N Snow cannot guarantee the language
spoken by the teacher, the groups are organized by ski level and not
not language.
5. Quality assurance provided by the customer
The customer must apply the instructions of the snow sports or climbing instructor to the letter, failing which the latter has the right to immediately terminate his mandate, and the customer will be required to pay the full contractual compensation.
The customer undertakes to spontaneously inform his climbing or skiing instructor or his guide of any risks concerning him (in particular of a medical nature). In the absence of contrary indications, the client guarantees to the guide that he has the required qualities (condition, mental and physical health, mountain experience, sure foot, absence of vertigo, equipment, etc.) to carry out the race subject to the contract. If a client does not fulfill his obligation to inform, in the event of a problem, the guide is entitled to turn back immediately, and the client will be required to pay the full contractual remuneration.
The client accepts the risks inherent in the race, regardless of whether the mandate is carried out diligently by the guide.
6. Insurance
The snow sports and climbing school, confirms that it has taken out professional civil liability insurance for subsidiary cover of
CHF 5 million per accident, including bodily injury and material damage. Rock N Snow must provide, at the customer's request, a photocopy of his insurance policy in order to prove that he has effectively taken out professional liability insurance.
In addition, Rock N Snow employees are covered by mandatory and customary insurance, including health and accident insurance.
It is the customer's responsibility to take out the following insurances (recommended), in his name and at his own expense:

Cancellation insurance, also known as expense insurance

Health and accident insurance

Insurance covering search, rescue and repatriation costs in the event of accident or illness, insofar as these clauses are not already included in the health and accident insurance

Liability insurance including accidents in the mountains

Insurance covering the costs of rescue, repatriation, accident during internship abroad
7. Cancelation
All reservations must be honoured. In the event of illness, before the cancellation period and subject to
a medical certificate, a credit for the value of the reservation will be
provided. This credit will be valid for a period of 12 months. We
do not cancel any ski or snowboard lessons due to bad weather. It is your
responsibility to cover yourself against this type of event.
The cancellation period for your reservation is 2 weeks before the
course start date. These deadlines passed, more
no refund will be made or in the case of payment of a
deposit, the full amount must be due as soon as possible.
8. Summer camp
For validation of your reservation, an amount of 50% of the value of the reservation will be requested within 10 days. The balance will be due in full no later than one month before the date or according to the invoice.
The cancellation period for your reservation is 4 weeks before the start date of the camp. In case of cancellation beyond 4 weeks, costs related to the course such as accommodation, transport, etc. you will be charged.
Once these deadlines have passed, no further refunds will be made or in the case of payment of a deposit, all must be due as soon as possible.
It is your responsibility to cover yourself against this type of event.
For summer camps, from 4 registrations the program is confirmed. From 2 registrations, the program will be adapted or the camp canceled according to agreement and at the latest 2 weeks before the start of the camp.
9. Climbing course in Switzerland andforeign
For validation of your reservation, an amount of 50% of the value of the reservation will be requested within 10 days. The balance will be due in full no later than one month before the date or according to the invoice.
The cancellation period for your reservation is 8 weeks before the start date of the course. However, once travel expenses are incurred, no refund will be made.
Once these deadlines have passed, no further refunds will be made or in the case of payment of a deposit, all must be due as soon as possible.
It is your responsibility to cover yourself against this type of event.

10. Liability
Rock N Snow cannot be held responsible for injury or
other events during the course of the
services provided within the legal framework of their exercise.
11. Jurisdiction
In the event of a dispute arising from the ASGM snow sports and climbing instructor contract, the ordinary courts are declared competent.
The contractual parties agree on the fact that the domicile of the guide is the only one taken into account to determine the competent jurisdiction.
12. Photos and videos
Photos and videos may be taken during climbing lessons to promote Rock N snow on social networks and the website. If you do not want your photos to be used, simply mention it at the beginning of the course or when registering.
13.COVID
In the event of quarantine or closure of establishments, classes will be moved to a later date.
